| Surface looks white and sandblasted, could have been cleaned with some sort of mild acid bath, like vinegar. |

| I'm a bit confused - is this a mule or the more common 1918-S minted with the correct obverse and reverse?
I'm trying to learn how to tell a mule apart. Thanks! |

| This is the 1918-S mule with reverse of the coin from the 1918-S 20 centavos. Its very easy to distinguish because the date is smaller compared to the regular 1918-S 5 centavos and even from other 5 centavos (1903 - 1928).  |

the shield the eagle is sitting on is slightly wider than the normal version of the coin. |

Meron ngayon nagbebenta ng mule 1918s 5 centavos sa USA ebay...VF35 at naka-slab pa. Nasa 264 US dollars pa lang ang pinakamataas na bid. Gusto ko sanang mag-bid kaya lang ay natatakot naman ako. Pinaka-safe pa rin ang mag-bid sa mga local auction dito dahil kaliwaan ang bigay. |
