Hi and thanks too Very Happy
December is a special month for me, my buying schedule to "replenish" or add coins to my collection is, yes, December, the first three weeks, this is the time when dealers I know, are accomodating to discounts because of the festive season in the air.

So by mid to end November, I more or less have my list of wanted coins and the budget to go with it, and the festive season becomes even better! Very Happy

Try it!

Redesigning is a deceptive term for demonitization. It is one way for the banks to extend the lifespan of paper currencies which is backed by nothing. Very Happy

Hi Josie Very Happy
For currency conversions this site is useful
http://xe.com
click "tools" then click "currency converter"

we havent hit the bottom of the barrel, one Philippine Peso is still = to 40 Colombia Pesos and = 11 Chile Pesos among other things

It would be nice to bring back P28=1US$ circa abt 1987, but that would be fantasy, i Think Very Happy

Very nice post Nic

Seen in krause 2008

Philippines still have 1 centavo listed until 2005.

Not into columbia or chile.

Columbia

listed in krause

lowest coin listed ascending.

20 pesos, 50,500 in 2004 is the highest listed, no centavo listed maybe that why Philippines peso is still strong compared to Colombia Peso.

Chile

Listed in krause.

Lowest coin listed ascending.

1 peso,5,10,50,100,500 in 2003 is the highest listed, no centavo listed maybe that why Philippines peso is still strong compared to Chile Peso.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chilean_peso

Almost one billion dollar a month remittance of ofw seen some graph in INQ 7 still Philippine Piso is strong, then sudenlly demonitized coins and print larger Philippines notes.

What is that zimbawee?

Zimbawee is way way much better they are in embargo.

Philippines is not suddenlly demonitized just a comment it seems to be worst than in 1967 where currency reserve and gold reserve deplited.

Section 57.

Other can share if they have more info.
