You should also watch out for fake silver yuan's usually issued in .999 and ranges for an ounce to a kilo.

the bars are silver plated copper and some are silver plated aluminum/tin alloy.

please be careful in buying silver bars. I am hoping that these chinese fakes haven't penetrated the local markets yet.
