| Well, we have taken one step forward...
One organization running a coin auction, perhaps taking my advice, posted its auction list on this website, AND did so a couple weeks ahead of the sale date. FANTASTIC!!! The second organization, however, did not post its recent its auction list here or even a notice of the coming sale at all.
No names will be mentioned. The second organization referred to here might be embarassed!
The first organization should be congratulated for letting the numismatic community know, and know well ahead of time, that they are running an auction. Also, they should be thanked for ensuring that news of their sale reached a wide audience through the filipinonumismatist.com newsgroup.
Each of us, let's do our part to encourage or politely insist that all of the clubs take full advantage of this site and post an advance copy of their auction lists for the benefit of everyone!

| Another good sale coming up on January 22nd, but who will be the first to post the auction list? Every club should post EARLY!

Based on their FB page, 9 - 9:30 is viewing and auction proper starts at 1pm.
Auction list is at World Treasure ( Megamal) and JC Coins (Greenhills).
No Auction list posted online as of this writing.

| the January 22 BNSP auction was well attended as the committee ran out of paddles and had to make do with improvised ones (the highest number i saw was 104, i guess). and there were several observers like me who came in late and just watched the proceedings and conversed with friends. there were lots of pretty coins and most were sold as expected. most of the unsold items are the GOLD COINs which are priced expensive of course. hope there will be more coins and it will be nice once again in the next auction. |
