| Hi everyone, I am new to this forum, I'm just curious on how much the value of a 1906-S peso? I'm a bit confused because the 1906-P which is smaller in number is lesser in value. Please make an opinion. thanks  |

| Please look out for a 1906s USPI Peso coin this coming Sept 4 auction.. it is pegged in dollars.. scan the list posted here (BNSP Auction).. |

| only last year a graded 1906 philippine peso coin was sold for two thousand dollars (please see at Philippine Coins.com), maybe it should double its price by now, say it may be around four thousand? if you are following some prices worldwide, it seems that the old philippine pesos are not that in demand as the old u.s.a. dollars, and maybe should cost less.. |

| 1906 without s mint mark is a proof version. this one is very cheap. only $600.00. |

| Be aware on buying a 1906S without checkig it the righ way there are many fakes out there. In the last 6 Month i try to buy 5 Peaces and all of them was fake.

| from what i've seen, the 1906 one peso coins are pretty cheap in the US (compared to the asking prices here) |

| i belive thats normal here are much more collectors for philippine coins than in the us. I buy i the last years everytime there where nobody i watching the coins. As an exsample even very rare coins will nobody buy in the philippines for big pricses bug in Germany everybody is collecting them. In buy very often rare us or philippine coins for near half of the Value in europe or australia |

| Yesterday in the aucton there was one 1906s in xf uncleaned. It changed the owner for 6500$. A good deal for the new owner in my opinion. |

| $6,500.00 for extra fine 1906s is way above krause 2012 catalog at $4,000.00. anyway. auction sometimes is very much higher than book listing. in fact, again. it;s supply and demand that count. |

| well, i guess it depends on the collector whether he wants to pay that much or not for this certain coin. Some would think that its a good deal and well worth the money while others would think otherwise. I personally won't pay that much for a 1906s |

| I see in the last month some 1906s and if they are not fake they was cleaned. Mostly in a bad way. Uncleaned Versions are hard to find in my Opinion |
