Yes you're right that it depends on the striking of the coin.

Thanks eric! How about the one you bought? Do you see cartwheel effect on it? It will put me at ease to know that I'm not the only one with a 1500 piso gold coin with no cartwheel effect.
Also want to follow up on the receipt (written number on the upper-right).

| i haven't checked the one i've bought yet. but will check this evening.
my wife can't find our receipt but a friend who bought one had the number 17 written on the top right of the receipt. |
