Only few people are interested in buying coins like this anyway.
If you want you can give them a call and ask to be connected to the cash department:

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas
A. Mabini St. cor. P. Ocampo St.,
Malate Manila, Philippines 1004
Tel. No. : (632) 708.77.01
E-mail: bspmail@bsp.gov.ph

Thanks Market Market.
Appreciate it.

Regards

Thanks, will look forward to it.

Also, I don't see any cartwheel effect on this gold coin?
Do gold coins have them as well?

uh-oh, I don't see one on my Gold Coin...
What does that mean?
I don't think BSP will sell me a fake one.
Any thoughts?

isn't that effect depends on how the mold was made and how much strength of the strikes were applied?

http://coins.about.com/od/coinsglossary/g/cartwheel_coin.htm

Yes you're right that it depends on the striking of the coin.

the article above also states that:

Quote :
The cartwheel effect is best seen on larger coins, and doesn't necessarily appear on all mint state coins, since the effect is dependent on various factors that come together during striking.

@Market, i don't think you have anything to worry about. im sure the coins from bsp are authentic gold

Thanks eric! How about the one you bought? Do you see cartwheel effect on it? It will put me at ease to know that I'm not the only one with a 1500 piso gold coin with no cartwheel effect.

Also want to follow up on the receipt (written number on the upper-right).

Thanks again!
