| This August will be a very busy month for coin collectors. The announced schedules are: 1.) Saturday, August 20 organized by Bayanihan Collectors Club or BCCI; 2.) Sunday, August 21 organized by PNAS or Philippine Numismatists and Antiquarian Society; and an International Auction on Sunday, August 28 organized by Bank Note Society of the Philippines (BNSP).. this BNSP auction may again be pegged in Dollars which discourages some local bidders... |

| As usual, it is expected to be held at the 2nd floor, Tropical Hut (burger) Resto located at the corner of Scout Borromeo Street and Panay Avenue, Brgy. South Triangle, Quezon City (near the big National Book Store and behind the Mercury Drug Store along Quezon Avenue).. start with viewing of the offered items around 9:00 AM and the actual auction starts after 1:30 PM... hope we can be there... |

| is pnas still breakup with two separate organization?.
i joined pnas in 1982 and by 1983 i came to new york.
how many members joined the PNAS and Bayanihan collectors club?. |

| The BNSP coin auction was moved to September 4 (confirmed by Ms. Carmen).. and the other two auctions (of the groups PNAS and BCCI) will go on as scheduled this August, we hope.. |

| this idea of posting some results of coin auctions will help educate newcomers on prices.. and i got permission from some of them to post the actual prices of the coins sold during the auction... i just hope that i can be there (just to look and feel the air) even if i am short of funds nowadays.. |

| open Facebook and look at the Bayanihan Collectors Club site, they already posted the list of items for the August 20, 2011 auction at Max, Quezon Avenue.. very nice.. |

PNAS is in a melee up to this day. Only BNSP and Bayanihan remain in tact among the 3 groups. PNAS is very politically divided so I suggest that you should not join the group. Better join BNSP or Bayanihan, I think BCCI has a facebook fan page. Please contact them. |

| the auction always mentioned pnas. but did not say which group. how will we know?. specially i am outside the philippines. i know some guys or friends before. but there were scattered all over these clubs. |

| auction conducted by pnas are always two separate ones on the same date, obvious that it is deliberate? i joined when they announced that it will be a reconciliation (last year?).. and after that i do not know, i paid for a membership fee and never got any feedback whatsoever.. |

| i found pnas located at 1193 maria orosa street ermia, manila with phone number and e-mail address. but the other pnas. where that located?. can find any thing about them at website. anyone?. thanks. |
