| hi, guys! i'm having trouble deciding whether i should stick my commemorative stamps into my baknotes with the corresponding commemorative overprints (e.g. UST unending grace 400th year stamps on my 200-peso note with the UST overprint). does it add value to either stamp or note (or to both) or does it do the opposite (some consider it as a form of vandalism)? i have seen a few notes for sale which have stamps on them and they cost higher than your usual overprinted notes (maybe because it's a double whammy, banknote with a free stamp or stamp with a free banknote). just curious. |

| What do you mean by "stick/sticking" gluing/stapling them together?! that is very unacceptable.
Though you can display them like in the manner of that of your photo. But by just putting the stamp/s on top of the note without gluing it.
Yes it does add up to its value since since it's a "double whammy".

| yep. figured that's the best way to package the two. just slip both in the same bag and not actually attach the stamps on the banknote. i just saw these couple of notes on ebay (pics below; note that corresponding overprints are on the front side of each note), which i figured are kinda cool, but i guess it's more appealing to stamp collectors rather than to banknote collectors. |
