I like to share with others the experiences that may be avoided in coin collecting. The first mistake was accepting coins which are not your interest (you must say no if you do not want the coin, no matter what), you should not be in a hurry too much (there is still tomorrow, and it may bring better coins), do not get ugly coins (you will hate it later on), do not also be in a hurry to dispose your other coins (I sold to Mang Totoy Quiapo about half of my USPI silver pesos at very low prices when I started the little coins). Luckily, I did not came into this hobby with a "shotgun" approach, like some who try to collect all kinds of everything, which they will never ever complete half as much.. Kindly share your "learnings" here..

thanks to your advices. You're right. Never hurry and never fall into the sweet temptation of buying "everything". Just concentrate in one or two fields of periods or country. My mistake is I bought a lot of coins from the ancient roman times down to the different and modern countries. It's only lately that I realized that I'm not already in the collecting process but rather more on a hoarding one! So, I'm stuck now with these different world coins some cheap and some are historical valuable. The last coins that I bought was 12 years ago and I put every coins that I have in a big metal ammo box! haha it's only lately that I began to check these coins and participate in coin forums again..
