Hi,

I am a collector of world coins from England and have just found this forum.

I am doing some research on the dating of coins and I am finding it difficult to track down any information on the Quarto coins of 1819 and 1822 with the date engraved backwards.
Any information would help but especially were these coins minted in Manila or Spain, what were their mintage, are any of these coins in large collections, have any been sold lately & what were their prices and I would love to see a photo of these coins.

Can anyone help?

Thanks for the quick reply Lizjensen,

I have Krause 1801-1900. They list these errors but give no information other than price, so I'm really looking for some other references, and hoped someone on here may be an expert, have one in their colection or have specialist Philippines references.
