When the new notes were released in December I searched Ebay trying to find some to buy.. I found only one lot of P500's, the seller was asking nearly $70 each.. But in his description I read....."I WAS LUCKY TO HAVE THIS ERROR" and "ERROR IN COLOR THIS BANK NOTE WILL BE RECALL HURRY LIMITED STOCK", so I did a Buy it now. I contacted the seller only to be told he cannot post the note until the end of March, that's a two month wait. I told him I would pay when it was closer to his posting date.
This week he contacted me saying can I pay as he can now send the note. I asked him what the serial number was and he told me it had an "M" prefix. I told him that this could not be the note I bought as the "M" prefix was only released in the last two weeks, and could he please send me the note I bought.. There is no way I'm paying for this note. When he placed the ebay lot I dare say he didn't even have any P500's and when the BSP put their release on hold, that's when he thought up the story of not sending until the end of March, now after their release, he's rushed out bought the first P500's he could find and is trying to get me to pay....No chance of that!!!
