the 1961 to 1964 philippines commemorative silver pesos were selling at three pesos each. 3 x its face value. that was during my high school years. i loved it very much. and i don't know where to buy those lovely, shinning coins. specially i was in cebu city. and if i really get those. i think it will have a lot of finger print and scratches on it. i really know i like to collect coins. but in reality. i have no knowledge on how to protect those coins. secondly. as a high school student. three pesos a coin is really very very expensive. i remembered the jeepney fare is only 10 centavos. and we usually used those large centavos to play with schoolmates. and sometimes losing only few centavos. we would quarrel on each other. buy silver peso. three pesos each. come on. forget it. well. now that i collect coins for so many years. and i really like to have at least 100 each of the 1961 to 1964 brilliant uncirculated ms-65 silver pesos. but after so many years. it is no way that i can have those B.U. ms-65 silver pesos. right?.

This month I sent my 1963 & 1964 coins to NCS for conservation because I think they were contaminated with PVC residue from the cheap holders. Hopefully, they can be preserved and graded.
