Since I am new in collecting coins and notes, I am checking how one should store coins and notes properly.

Is there a numistmatic shop in the Philippines where we could get supplies?

I got my stuff from ebay and would consider if there are alternatives in the Philippines.

Yes, there are coin shops in Megamall, Greenhills, and Mabini St. in Pasay City. But sometimes still cheaper to buy it on Ebay.

Thanks for the info.

Would it be wise to put the coins in PVC storage or mylar 2x2?

My bills are pressed in between 2 clear hard plastic sheet dividers and then inserted in a plastic paper holder.

Would you advise this is wise?

I think mylar is better than PVC coz PVC are made derivatives from oil which actually affects photographs and prints. There are ready made banknote holder that you could buy from coin shops. It would be better for you to buy that than doing some experiments to your precious collections.

Thank you for the suggestion.

Any suggestions for a coin change holder? Whenever I travel, I carry lots of coins and eventually I could not find one in ebay.

I would like to have a coin change holder where I could easily put coins and get it quickly.

I am currently using time card holders which I find cheaper and as good as regular banknote holders. They are available at any school supply shops. Very Happy
