Is the BSP still sells bullion coins? Where do I place orders? Thanks!

The Bank is not minting new coins in precious metals at the moment. They have recently re-acquired the expertise and modern equipment to do this in house, but no new releases at the moment.

BSP is also selling a selection of commemoratives struck in proof quality over the past 20 years where inventories remain. The prices are competitive. Contact the Security Printing Complex in QC for more information.

I suggest you check out the auctions held every few weeks by one of the Manila-based clubs. Dealers always set up at these auctions, and that would be a good way to get to know them. One store I have recommended in the past is World Treasures at SM Mega Mall, Mandaluyong.

The establishment is owned by Atty. Escano. There are other coin shops in Greenhills and Tiendisitas.
