I do feel sorry for the new collectors like me. I just started collecting Philippines coins and banknotes last December and most of it is thru online purchases in ebay or sulit.com.ph.
I have started collecting other countries currencies since 1998 and still am. Unfortunately, being a Filipino I realized that how come I do not have any Filipino coins or bills. Imagine, I do not have even the 1972 / 1974 peso that I know my mom has 6 big ceramic vases which we eventually deposited to a bank before it goes out of circulation.
So in December up to now I have been buying Filipino coins and bills from US, Canada and Philippines sellers. Upon reading this comment in a website,

Hi. i just have a comment about the PNAS. i think it is about time for a change. i was a mail bidder since 2003 on the net. and there were an incidence were i bid for two auctions ie; september and december 2005 and the then secretary mr. marlon roxas is so incompetence that he combined the shipment for my winning bids of september and december. i never received any of my coins or banknotes. he gave me an incomplete registration number which is untraceable. so good luck PNAS and all the best. george"""
I started to think twice before dealing with Philppines dealers or suppliers. I hope this is not true as who would we as new collectors trust where the only club for our hobby is the source of the issue.
I know this would take time to resolve but ultimately the one suffering is the members and supposedly new members. I would like to be part of the PNAS club since I am a lifetime member of my university and a lifetime member of my professional organization too.
